Can the clarisonic be used with proactiv?

The package insert says not to use a gritty cleanser with it, and Proactiv is pretty gritty. I use Proactiv in the shower in the morning and the Clarisonic at night, since Proactiv and ruin your sheets anyway! I have only been using the Clarisonic for 2 weeks, but I am already needing the Proactiv less and less! Hope this helps.

Sure! It is recommended that abrasive cleansers not be used in conjunction with the Clarisonic but you should be fine with Proactiv

The Classic may work on the body, but I don't think I would use the same brush head as the other reviewer stated. I would purchase a separate brush head for body use and wash it after use. Definitely more hygienic!!

Of course! Even though the Classic model does not have the fancy body attachment like some of the higher, more expensive models I use my Classic model to exfoliate the body (however I have very sensitive skin and I think the body brush would be much too rough for my skin) After using it on the body I would wash the brush head in warm soapy water before using it again on the face

You don't really need to, but I do use an exfoliant every now and then, but I only have time to use the Clarisonic once a day. If you use it twice a day you probably don't need to.

I haven't seen the need to. I've used my Clarisonic for two weeks now and my skin hasn't once felt the need for exfoliation. In fact it feels freshly exfoliated every time I use it.
There are days I use the higher setting for when my skin feels a little more funky, but other than that the exfoliants have stayed tucked away in the closet.

I have found that I do not need to exfoliate weekly because I use the Clarisonic twice daily. When I first got my Clarisonic I used it everyday and also exfoliated every week but I found that did more harm than good to my ultra sensitive skin so I would recommend skipping weekly exfoliation when using the Clarisonic everyday

Yes, I think you are suppose to hold down the button till you hear a long beep, it explains it in the instruction guide.

If you want it to use it longer than one minute, all you have to do is press the button again or I believe you can (I haven't done this), but you can set it to stay on for longer (two minutes), but at some point you are going to have to press the button again to re-start it. It cannot be set to stay on continuously.

Why won't my Classic turn on consistently?
I've had my Classic for over 2 years....love it. The last month or so, it won't turn on some days. I've always put it in the charger after each use. Not sure what's going on with it....

Hi Susan, Each speed moves 300 times a second and cleans your face the same way. The difference in speed is how aggressive you want your cleansing experience to be. If you have sensitive skin the medium or low may be best. However, if your skin is not easily irritated you may find the high speed to be the best cleansing option for you.
