My Mia is a 100V-240V unit, allowing for use overseas. As long has you have a UK adapter to change the prongs to fit for UK, you should be fine.

Please note, UK adapters are different from the rest of the Europe, so make sure you get one specifically for the UK.

Yes, the Mia is compatible with 100-240 Volts AC; 50/60 Hz. It can be used worldwide with the appropriate country adapter.

No, it looks like the body brush/adapter is just for the larger models (Pro/Plus).

I also have a Mia and was hoping it would work.

answer 2
The Spot Therapy brush (Body brush) head is not compatible with the Mia. The Mia does not have the technology for the Spot Therapy brush head. The normal brush head is often used on the body instead.

I charge my Five (5) Mia's only when the charge is completely drained / depleted, which is the way I charge ALL my re-chargeable batteries. If you charge them more often (when they still have power in them) the battery loses it's memory and it will continue to accept less of a charge & you will slowly get less than 20 uses between charges. I plan on having these for quite some time & Clarisonic does NOT Warranty / Guarantee the battery inside the units. Unsure why they state it's ok to keep them charging all the time, makes no sense to me since ALL RE-CHARGEABLES have a certain lifespan of charges and you're shortening the lifespan that much faster so you'll need to buy a new Clarisonic unit that much sooner. Great for Clarisonic, not so great for the Consumer.

I believe it will hold a charge for two weeks. You definitely don't need to do it nightly.

I've charged mine once so far. got it 1.5 weeks ago... I'll probably charge it tonight for a good 12 hrs and I think the manuel said it would last 20 minutes....

Thank you for your question. You can charge the Clarisonic only when needed, or you can leave it in the charger base at all times. It has a low memory so most people find leaving it in the charger all the times has the best results.

Question
Bacteria growth on brush?
Is there something you can purchase to prevent bacteria growth on the brush? You don't want to spread infection from one problem area in your face to another and you can't feasibly use a new brush every few days... Is there cleanser or some sort of UV device (something similar to electric toothbrush head cleaning devices) that can be purchased to ensure the brush head is clean?

That's the only thing preventing me from purchasing one - I had a dermotologist who recommended I stop using a facial brush when I was a teen for similar concerns.

Hi there, We recommended not putting the cap on the brush after use unless traveling. To prevent bacteria growth wash your brush head at least once a week with anti-bacterial soap and warm water. If you have existing bacteria or grime on the brush, use one a part bleach and one part water solution to soak the brush for a few minutes. Thanks!

Where can I buy a new charger for my MIA without having to buy an entirely new system? I left mine in a hotel this week and the universal charger doesn't work with the Mia. I don't want to spend another $150 just for the charger. HELP!

Hi there,
This means the brush needs a charge. Have you tried resetting the unit by charging it in an entirely different room? If so, give us a call so we can do some more troubleshooting with you.

Question
Would you recommend the clarisonic mia for me?
I am 14 years old and have combination skin. I get the occasional breakout but other than that my skin is behaving pretty well. Would it be too early to start using the clarisonic mia? Should I wait until I get older before I try?

Hi there,
Thank you for your question, it's great you're starting to take care of your skin at a young age. Yes, the Clarisonic is great for teenagers! It will help clear up any acne you have now and it will help prevent acne in the future. The mia is a great starter model. We currently have a discount if you buy two Clarisonic units you save about $20 each. Maybe a friend of yours would also like to give it a try!
